Wonder Boy

I finally got around to watching the first episode of Goong. I had high hopes. Had is now the operative word.

So far, the only way it is different from Boys Over Flowers / Hana Yori Dango is that they have done the bear re-enactment thing at the end, a la Playful Kiss. Don't get me wrong, I loved BOF and HYD, I was just hopeful for something a little different this time around. Then again, its a Korean drama ... obviously it has to have a poor ordinary girl heroine and ridiculously wealthy, powerful, attractive yet somewhat douchey male lead. I am already sensing some Rui-ness in Yul and he was only on screen for about 10 seconds.

I also finished reading my scripts. I'm quite a descriptive person, and normally I find scripts difficult to envisage, but these read very much like a novel to me, and as such I really enjoyed reading them. A number of uniforms to sort out though, which is probably where most of my budget will go. Sigh.

My sister is home and I think tomorrow will be spent on bridesmaid duty. Advantages of doing it twice before is that I now know where all the good dress shops are. I will bet you anything my mum cries for the first dress, no matter how it looks.

Right ... I'm not sleepy and not bored enough to go to sleep regardless. It's 2 AM ... I know I shouldn't, but maybe I'll just watch another episode of Goong.

Dear God, how thrilling my life is.

Up and Down

Today was not productive.

Bearing in mind I wanted to have the wedding dress finished by July, it has literally just occured to me that I have 2 days in which to acheive this target, and about 2/3 of the beading left as well as making and sewing on what will probably amount to 100 tiny self covered buttons.

I have two main problems.

The buttons are not easy to cover, as they need to match the rest of the dress, therefore layering chiffon over satin, and the satin is too stiff. I do have some lightweight (its pronounced cheap) ivory satin that will hopefully work better, but I'll only find out if I try, and trying unsucessfully is SUPER frustrating.

My second problem is that I asked my mother for her opinion on whether I should scrap my beaded bird, which I was proud of but everyone else thinks looks like a effing dolphin. She proceeded instead to tell me - for over an hour - all the negatives about my beading work ... that the silver beads were too much, and then that the white work was not enough, not realising that every change she was telling me to make would not be a simple case of removing a bead here or there, but removing a whole section. Basically starting again. I know it doesnt sound much, but its a hell of a knock to your confidence, especially for something as emotionally important.

I then wasted any time I could actually have been productive on the phone to the groom to be.

This evening was slightly more sucessful. We finished Firefly and didn't throw up due to too much junk, and I just read two scripts. I'm actually really looking forward to doing my breakdowns; they're good scripts and I think they'll be fun to work on, especially as it should be quite easy continuity wise.

Also, I'm looking forward to being Heather costume again.

I am going to have to find a way of marking what songs I have used for my titles ... I fear duplicates are occuring.

Purple Line

I'll probably keep this post quick as I want to go to sleep.

I am not in the slightest bit sleepy, but I am bored.

I have exhausted all my social networking sites, and I don't really want to start on a new episode of Super Junior Show or Goong as it seems a bit late. I also researched into local dry cleaners and how to cover tiny buttons (seeing as my test didn't work out too well today).

I even watched the lastest behind the scenes video of the film I worked on a while back, which was cast and crew interviews ... but they only talked to two cast members and barely any of the crew, although they did talk to a few girls who were just runners for a couple of days. The original 'Meet the Cast and Crew' video was much better. At least you actually saw the main crew even if they didn't talk to them.

I just yawned and could taste tortilla chips, so thats weird.

Hmm trying to come up with a title with at least some relevance. I know, I'll just throw a music video in. Old school TVXQ, way back when 60% of the band hadn't filed lawsuits against SM Entertainment.

Artist

I watched Baby and I last night, but seeing as it was just a film and nothing particularly amazing, I don't feel the need to do a whole post on it. It was good and I enjoyed it, but I did expect more comedy and less drama. I laughed and I cried, but I mostly felt that a lot of opportunities were missed, such as any real development of relationship between the baby and his unprepared high school father. I have a feeling it is only so high up in the ranking because of Jang Geun Suk, and I can't say I am surprised, he was really cute in this.

Next up is Goong, a well known slightly older series (as in pre 2010) that is pretty much a Cinderella story from the sound of it.

This evening I had the girls around to watch the first episode of the drama I worked on last autumn. It's so hard to believe that it will be a whole year since I got that job in a few weeks time. Everyone dressed up and they rolled out a red (wallpaper) carpet outside my house so that all the neighbours can think that I'm a lunatic.

Actually, now that I think about it, my neighbours have been witness to a fair few random events over the past 8 years*. Cardboard cut outs of real and painted people, fairy tents, banners, random notes, and now red carpet. It only seems note worthy because we never talk to them to explain things, so God knows what they think its all about. They may have also heard the screams when Miffy saw my father naked, so that can only help their preconceptions.

In other news, I just drank a bucket of tea and now I'm pretty sure I'll be up all night, for more than one reason. Aces.

My Princess

What's this? A post before 1 am? I know what you're thinking, this must mean its a k drama post, right? Well, surprisingly, you are correct.

My Princess is about a girl who finds out she is a princess. Shocker, right there. Basically, the Korean government have put the reestablishment of the Korean Imperial Family to the public vote, and as such, an ordinary student, Seol, finds out that her father was the grandson of the last emperor. Having spent her early childhood on the run until her father was killed in a car accident (well it is Korea, after all), she was raised in an orphanage completely unaware of her legacy. She meets diplomat and 3rd generation cheabol (aka super rich person) Hae Young, who will be forced to give up his inheritance should the restoration go through. At first the two have a strained relationship as Hae Young is put in charge of teaching Seol princess-y things, but soon they start to fall for each other yadda yadda yadda. Originally, Hae Young was to marry Yoon Joo, who was actually rather keen on Professor Nam, Seol's crush, so obviously those two got tied off neatly at the end because k dramas can't end with out every single character getting a happy ending.

I must admit to noticing a bit of a trend lately. I get very easily hooked into these shows at the start, but half way through, when things start to get a little too peachy and happy (as in when the main characters start to realise that they like each other) I lose interest. Not that the series went down hill or anything, far from it, I guess I just find the chemistry between main characters much more enticing when they don't realise its there. One of my favourite moments of this series is when Hae Young dumps a sleepy Seol into a fountain because she is late for class. You can bearly see it, but Hae Young does this ha-ha-in-your-face dance while she is spluttering and all the staff are shitting themselves that they just let a royal get thrown in a fountain. I liked that side of the relationship ... the fun side before it gets bogged down with love and all that crap.
From Google. The Fountain Dunk. I wish I could find a screen cap or video of Hae Young being a smart arse, but I can't remember what episode it was

It was a good series, fun to watch and not too mushy. I know I laughed out loud, and I'm pretty sure I cried. Hae Young was hot and Seol was really pretty ... in fact she reminds me a lot of Ji Eun from Full House. She had some really lovely costumes and I am pretty much in love with how she did her hair (I need to get some cute accessories). She had some amazing shoes too (although I did notice they left the labels on the bottom more than once ... tut tut golden rule broken right there). I liked the palace uniforms as well, mixing smart suits with traditional hanbok was a really goo idea. However, I was not a fan of Yoon Joo. At the risk of sounding shallow, I did not like her face or her style or her character ... although I don't think I was supposed to so its all good.

Next up is Baby and I, a Jang Geun Suk movie (you may get two reviews in one day). He is the guy from You're Beautiful and Mary Stayed Out All Night. I keep having to check right from the start because I'm pretty sure Love Rain is going to sneak into the top 30 soon enough. I'm on 26 now. For reference, 25 is Zettai Kareshi (the robot story that still breaks my heart to think about) and 29 is Nodame Cantabile, which I watched at the beginning of May 2011. It does not seem that long ago.

제트별 (Jet)

Today, I made two very important decisions regarding my future.

I started off by watching the rest of Super Junior Full House. Their goodbyes made me cry. I then looked up the other reality shoes they have done, and decided to work my way through those as well... not that this is one of my important decisions regarding my future.

I'm now on Super Junior Show, which is older than FH. It's a little strange so far, half variety show, half reality. I wish they would stick to reality. I always knew that an idol's life is hard, but even though this was filmed when they were a still a rookie group, their schedules are manic. In one episode, Heechul said he only gets about 2 hours sleep a day, and that's broken up and mostly during travelling. I also heard about a recent idol survey and 40% of the idols had less than an average of 4 hours sleep. How sad is that? I really feel sorry for them for working so hard, but I know that Leeteuk for one hates not being active, so maybe its some kind of idol condition.

Anyway, after I had watched a fair few episodes of SJ show, I found myself on the UK JET website. Its a programme where English teaching assistants are sent over to Japan for a year, and is something I have been seriously considering applying for. They take applications in October and November to leave the following July. I can't apply this year, as I'd miss my sister's wedding. I can't apply next year as I'd miss one of my best friend's wedding. After that, I figure no one else is likely to be getting married, THEREFORE, IMPORTANT DECISION REGARDING MY FUTURE #1 is to apply to JET programme October/November 2014. This why I figure I have more than enough time to 1) learn Japanese and 2) chicken out re-evaluate.

IMPORTANT DECISION REGARDING MY FUTURE #2 came to me randomly and somewhat out of the blue. I want to start using scented candles in my room. You know the big ones, not necessarily Yankee candles but that sort of thing? I quite like the idea of my bed with all the pillows on and a candle gently wafting subtle fragrance around the room. Not that I ever put the pillows on my bed ... nor does my room smell (I hope), but the imagery! I keep seeing missglammorazzi on Youtube with them or talking about them, and I'm nothing if not highly impressionable. So yeah ... candles.

Happy Together

I have spent a rather large proportion of today watching a Super Junior reality show. It's called Full House, and involved two female students staying with Super Junior while they study Korean.

I've watched a bit of it before, but the episodes are pretty hard to track down due to copyright, so I have never watched the whole series. I'm pretty sure I have mentioned or even posted a video link before where the members try to learn English. Its really funny, especially as they can't remember much past 'You are so gorgeous.' Although I'm a little concerned why they were taught 'OBEY ME!'. I'll post it again just in case... I challenge you not to laugh.

From YouTube

Its an old series, way back in 2006 so they'd not long debuted, and they all look soooo young. The girls stayed in a dorm with Heechul, Hangeng, Kangin, Donghae, Siwon and Kibum (only Donghae and Siwon are still active in SuJu, although Kangin is returning for their new album. Heechul is in the army, Hangeng left SM due to the slave contract controversy, and Kibum is on hiatus to pursue his acting career), although Eunhyuk turns up much of the time*.

I've laughed (pretty much all the time) and I've cried (when they won their first award). If you read my drama posts you know that this is how I rate a show. Plus it has Super Junior, so bonus points right there.

It has been a royal pain trying to find working links though. It's annoying when you have to watch one 30 min episode in parts on about three different sites. I've never had this trouble with SHINee's shows ... and they were better quality. Shawols obviously are happier to share than ELFs ... or more likely the blockers are on the ball for SuJu more than SHINee.

Maybe just one more before bed.

Message

I like Asian pop music. No surprise there to anyone who has ever read one of my posts before.

Mostly, I listen to Kpop, or the music made predominately by Korean bands. Sometimes, in fact more often than not it would seem, Kpop bands will release their songs in other languages. Normally Japanese, but sometimes Chinese or even English.

This is all very well and good until you realise that a good proportion of your music is just the same song in various different languages.

I have 'Perfection' by SJM in Chinese, Korean and Japanese. SNSD's 'The Boys' in Korean, Japanese and English, and pretty much every other title or promoted song in at least two different languages.

Again, all very well, until you know there is a new language version of a song that you can't get your hands on. Like the Japanese versions of many of SHINee's songs. Sigh.

What brought this about? Myname have just released the Japanese version of 'Message'. I don't like the MV so much as the original, especially the styling of the members, but I still adore the song.

From MYNAMEJPN YouTube

In other news, Laptop is doing that weird 'I-don't-want-to-move-my-mouse' thing again, and I am having Firefly withdrawal.

Realisation of the day: Beading gives you too much time to think. I either get emotional or talk to myself ... more than normal, I mean. Like conversations.

Beautiful Stranger

So my stars were wrong. I didn't meet the man of my dreams today ... Unless he was the shelf stacker at Sainsburies who made a comment about me falling in a bucket, in which case I let the opportunity slip by.

More Firefly this evening, and then I watched The Shinjuku Incident when I got home. It's about Chinese illegal immigrants in Japan, so the language was switching between Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese a lot. I love it when I can pick out words i understand. It was quite good, but Jackie Chan is looking old now, especially in such a serious role. I kind of miss the tongue in cheek characters of his Hollywood films, namely Shanghai Noon. I can't deny loving that film.

Thought of the day. You know when a pedestrian is crossing the road, and they time it so they are crossing behind you right as you go past? Anyone else ever tempted to break suddenly so they end up walking straight into the side of your car?

Realisation of the day. I've only had a proper dinner on one day this week.

SHINee Girl

This is getting boring now.

Another day, another post, and my mind is again utterly uninspired.

Today I played with pearl rice beads from Australia, went to see Snow White for the second time in three days, and switched my iPhone charger cable over because the rubber had perished. Fun times to be sure.

We also watched another two episodes of Firefly. I hope Miffy doesn't mind but I didn't get the impression she was much enthralled. I think Mal shooting the horse really got to her, even though the horse was acting and she'd missed the explanation of the horse being a part of the plan because she was reading the paracetamol instructions. I still maintain that she would make an excellent companion though.

Right, beauty sleep so I can meet my destined lover tomorrow ...

One For Me

What to post about?

I'm really struggling for inspiration at the moment. Maybe it's because not much new is going on on my life right now, or that I have been really tired for some reason over the past few weeks. Most likely it is because I can only talk about Korean drama and Korean music so much.

My mum was reading my stars the other day, and is convinced I'm going to meet someone of great significance to my future on Thursday. Seeing as the only plans I have for Thursday is to do the shopping before I go to my Gran's, it looks that that person will be in sainsburies. I'll let you know how I get on.

I Don't Understand

La la la I have nothing to post about ... again.

So you can have a picture from my last google search.

It's from the BBC series 'Episodes'. Apparently they fluffed up the Hebrew on the headstone, so that rather than saying 'dearly missed' or what have you, it actually says 'pickled at great expense'.

I suspect they were actually just playing the Google Translate game to great effect.

In other exciting news, I keep seeing a massive spider on the bed from the corner of my eye, but its actually just the velcro of my laptop charger.

Lucifer

British Summer, how we love you. Why would we ever want blue skies and warm sun when we can just have constant rain??

Naturally, with the afore mentioned constant rain, I didn't leave the house today, not even to do my Avon delivery. Yesterday, I waited pretty much all afternoon for the rain to stop, and as soon as I left the house, it poured down. As soon as I got home, it stopped again. Stupid rain.

Instead, I spent all day being a lazy arse. I watched some more of the SHINee Yunhanam reality show. I decided that if I was their noona, I would pick Minho. He was really quiet and sweet back then, and I learnt a new side to him, other than his stage side and the older, more confident Minho of Hello Baby. Having said that, I would also pick Onew out of pity, Key because he is hilarious, Jonghyun because he is the most confident, and Taemin because he is cute ... but probably Minho first as he is the tallest. Yup, it all comes down to height in the end. They're kpop idols, so I couldn't decide based on their hair, although I have never understood Taemin's style.

Hmm, so this has somehow turned into another post about SHINee. How to fix that ...

Ok, it's now a considerable amount of time later, and my search for something else to talk about ended up in me fangirling SHINee. I found a 'rock version' of Lucifer. I suspect it was based on the music bank performance with Trax (again, blond Asians are hot). The intro made me laugh (pretty sure Taemin got peed on by a rat) but other than black costumes, more eye make up and a bit of fire, I have no idea how this is supposed to constitute as a rock version ... Oh, and f(x) show up randomly in the middle for some reason.

I mostly felt sorry for Jonghyun being stuck in his little birdcage all on his own, and the others for having mic problems.

Replay

I just woke up, mid way through an episode of My Princess and with quarter a head of crimped hair .... but we'll get to that part in a bit.

I had an early morning. I had a fitting for the Bridal dress first thing, which was frustrating when I hadn't gone to sleep that early the night before. Then, when I got home, I had to spend pretty much all afternoon being tech support to my parents; one while he tried to sort out his email, and the other trying to sort out her music.

I finally escaped only to get hooked on an old korean reality show on YouTube, from the very early days of SHINee. They have to compete to give the best date to various noonas. In korean culture, noona is a word used by men to describe a woman who is older than them, like an older sister. For example, I would be a noona to SHINee ... and I totally wouldn't mind if they took me on a date. They were so sweet back then ... but soooo young. Taemin couldn't have been much more than 15.

Then I played with my new curling tongs on one side of my head, to compare with my natural hair. I got the babyliss glamour waves one, with a wide barrel that is supposed to give a more natural wave than curls. The bottom layer worked really well ... the top layer not so much. I may have overworked it. So in the end I crimped it to give a deep wave. I don't think you're supposed to use it like that, but oh well.

Anyway,  I'll sign off here before I fall asleep again.

History

I've been on YouTube for a long time now. My current account since 2007, and my old account for about 6 months before that. That was the golden age of YouTube, the rise of the vlogger and when the site was still a community.

Over the years, I have seen some of my favourite YouTubers come and go, and some come back again. However, not all, but I remain subscribed in hope.

BoBurnham.
Don't be so busy in Hollywood that you forget to post your sarcastic songs on the tubes. I still maintain that you are a million times better than Tim Minchin.

CutewithChris.
I still celebrate International Feel Sorry for Yourself day ... because of you, Chris. I miss the Pervy the perverted horse (lotion makes you slippery). All your dreams are dead.

ClipCritics.
Yes, you came back, but I miss the old show. I can't place a finger on why, but it's not the same. Maybe because everyone is doing it now (namely Ray William Johnson)

Comedinnerwithme.
YOU NEVER EVEN HAD A CHANCE.

CommunityChannel.
Damn it Nat!! You were the funniest person on Youtube! Just come back properly ... or at least make the goshdarn lamingtons video.

5AG.
I don't want you to come back properly, but a video every once in a while with the guys or girls reunited would be a lovely surprise.

JohnnyDurham19/PumpkinSplat.
To the LOVELIEST awesome guy. I miss you most of all.

CommunityChannel's Nat I know will return with a load more empty promises, and I suspect we will get a video at some point from everyone else, but I fear CutewithChris is dead forever.

Ah, such a waste. He used to own the number 7 kitten website on the Internet, you know. I strongly suggest you watch every one of his videos. Then try to pronounce Oregon.

La Di Da Di

I was really struggling to think of something to blog about today, and then I decided to watch Cross Gene's debut MV. I have the album and will contentedly admit to being a little addicted to the song, but I've only watched the video once, although now I'm not sure why I haven't watched it more. It is freaking hilarious.

First, the guy at the beginning ... something very sinister about him. I think its the eyes. But when he says 'but I just cannot get my eyes off of you' he actually looks like he might kill someone.

I just can't get your eyes off of me ... literally ... because I gouged them out of your head.

Although the guy in the pink jacket is really pretty... when he is horizontal. Vertical, not so much.

SEXYHAE!!

I do enjoy the sitting down dance, especially when they all start doing spirit fingers. I tried to screencap it, but it turns out it doesn't look as funny when its not moving.

 Sparkle Sparkle!

I also enjoy how everyone puts on their super serious face.

SRS BSNS.

Hats off to them for not coming across as completely gay with those lyrics though, especially to sing the title words  'la di da di'. I mean, really? ... Although don't think I  missed the little flounce by the guy at the back at 1.23.

However, all of this you can forgive, and even readily accept from a kpop video ... until they start doing the bear claw dance. Other dance moves of note include the Zombie and the Texan Shooter. I mean, I'm pretty used to this sort of thing by now, but even that made me o_O.

 Growl.

In general, I love the song and the video is hilarious, so well done AMUSE KOREA for making Cross Gene live up to your name.

Electric Shock

I am hoping that Laptop overheating issues are now a problem of the past, thanks to my brand spanking new cooling laptop tray ^^. It's got fans built in and has space underneath for the air to circulate, and a semi squidgy base that may not be a bean bag like I'm used to, but still rather comfortable. So far, I'm rather impressed.

My mum got it for me, and I have just managed to watch an entire episode of My Princess without it turning itself off! In fact, I just felt the bottom, and instead of the blistering heat I am used to being emitted from the base of my laptop, it is now nice and cool, even though its been on and in use for a good couple of hours.

The only negative thing I have picked up on is that it has made me realise that my lap in uneven. For some reason, as I am semi lying in bed with the tray and laptop on my hips, it is quite obviously higher on one side than the other. Seeing as the tray itself looks perfectly symmetrical, I can only assume that my right hip sticks out further than my left. So that's just peachy.

<3 x

P.S. I realise to most this will seem a pointless post ... BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH OF A PROBLEM OVERHEATING WAS FOR ME! IT WOULDN'T LAST HALF AN HOUR AT THE BEST OF TIMES. Now if only I could figure out how to break Laptop out of zombie mode ...

P.P.S. The title is f(x)'s new song. It's OK. I'm not in love with it, but I never am totally enamoured with f(x). I keep an eye on them because I like Amber ... and I want to see if they ever turn her into a girl.

The Boys

I don't understand boys.

A few weeks ago, I got a friend request on Facebook. I didn't recognise the guy, even though he was friends with a few people I have worked with, so I ignored it. A few days later, I got a message, and as it just said 'Hi, how are you?, I ignored him once again. Then I got a message telling me he had been trying to get in contact with me, so, thinking it may be work related, I replied with a simple explanation of how I don't use Facebook very often. He replied with his number. A few days later, another 'Hi how are you?' message, and a few days after that, another. I ignored them all, having decided this was clearly not about work.

However, I have just got a message saying he had tried to call me but couldn't get through. Where did he get my phone number from? I knew he had my email address (I don't know how he got that either but it is easier to find online, I guess). Is he trying to ask for my number in a round-a-bout way? Or is it actually work related and I have been ignoring him unjustly? I see no reason why he would need to get into contact with me about work seeing as I am not involved in anything to do with that company at the moment, but I am confused and at a loss of what to do. Does asking 'Is this business or pleasure?' seem to blunt ... or prostitute-y?

Why I am I picking up all the persistent people lately? Its so strange, it is almost like a memo got sent out telling people to hassle me.Why can't people either calm the crap down or take an effing hint?

And people say that girls are clingy ...

Intoxication

Aish! I've gotten really rubbish at posting every day over these last few weeks.

Granted, sometimes I have valid reasons, such as the hen night, or the wedding weekend, but the rest of the time it literally doesn't cross my mind until the next morning, or even a couple of evenings after.

Bad blogger.

The hen night was awesome. We pratted around in a posh hotel, ate a posh meal ... and then went t' pub. I am mostly proud of myself for drinking cocktails, wine and disaranno through out the night WITHOUT throwing up. Maybe, finally, I am capable of getting drunk without vomiting first! Not that this is particularly a good thing. I always forget how shitty alcohol makes you feel about yourself after you have gotten past the happy tipsy phase.

*COUGH* It also makes you kiss boys you have absolutely no interest in just 'cos your friends told you that you had to ... although it was mostly because the guy told you it was the price of a drink. *COUGH*  Hmmmmm ... what?

Somehow, I ended up with more alcohol in the boot of my car the next day than I arrived with. My friends and I then pushed my car around the car park for a bit, because we're cool and that's just how we roll.

Ummm ... I feel like this is a very alcohol centred post.

Don't drink, kids.

It's highly overrated.

Get high on sugar instead. It doesn't come with a hangover.

P.S. In other news, I am literally constantly singing Monster by Big Bang at the moment ... but only the last line ... repeatedly. So, if you hear me doing so, don't worry, it is not a hint.

P.P.S. I love how you search Monster on YouTube and Big Bang comes up before Kanye or Gaga. See how kpop is spreading?! It's a shame its a ... umm lets just say strange ... video though. I'll stick with Fantastic Baby.

P.P.P.S. Kinda hooked on My Princess ... I'm on episode 5 already.

P.P.P.P.S. Ahhh only joking, you can go now.

Lie to Me

First I want to share with you the description of this series on dramacrazy.net.

'A romantic comedy about a woman in her mid 20s lying that she was forced into marriage and then thing that happen after that.'

...Right.

In essence, it's fairly accurate, excluding the bad grammar and general wording. One day, Ah Jung sees her first love and ex best friend as a happily married couple, and in order to save face in front of them, lies that she was married. Through various assumptions and chance encounters, somehow the young president of a reputable hotel, Gi Joon, gets involved in the lie, and the two make a contract to pretend to be married; Ah Jung infront of her friend, and Gi Joon to secure a business deal. Obviously the lie gets a little out of hand, they start to fall for each other, other people get in the way, the lie is revealed and the whole thing ends in a happily ever after with the two running towards each other across a meadow .... no, really.

From Google. It was sweet, but I did *facepalm* at the cheesiness.

While I really enjoyed it at the start, I have to admit to loosing interest slightly when things started to get a little too peachy. I much more enjoyed the pretence rather than the actual romance, especially when the line started to blur. Also, I think a cola fight would be amazing in real life. I really liked the character of Sang Hee, Gi Joon's younger brother. He had fallen for his sister in law to be and forced the couple to break up a few years previously, and started to fall for Ah Jung even though he set her up with Gi Joon. It was a little disappointing that he played such a minor role in the latter half of the series, especially seeing as he got a new hot hair cut and had a sexy voice.

I actually don't have much else to say about this drama. I got through two thirds of this drama incredibly quickly, but the last few episodes really seemed to drag, and I would often only watch half an episode at a time. I did laugh out loud but I didn't cry, all the emotional scenes just weren't emotional enough. It was enjoyable, even if the end was a little focused on the leads rather than the many other major characters. However, it was nice to see Ah Jung looking like a girl, after seeing her as tomboy Eun Chan in Coffee Prince.

Next up is My Princess. I gather it is a cross between Mei-chan no Shitsugi and The Princess Diaries in Korean. So I'm basically imagining Princess Diaries where Mia falls for Joesph ... no wait ...*shudder* ...

Ikenai Taiyou

I haven't got anything to post about today. My day was pretty unproductive, so I don't really have anything new to share.

I am quite liking the blogger app though. It gives iPhone post a new, less negative meaning. It's just a lot easier than using the web-version.

Also, I'm kind of hooked on this SuJu fanfic. It's about a girl who is forced to pretend to be a guy while living in the SuJu dorms, and pretty much is identical to Hana Kimi.

Thinking about Hana Kimi, the Korean version will be airing soon, with MinHo from SHINee and Sulli from f(x) as the leads. Tonnes of other SM artists are likely to be in it as well, so I'm looking forward to it. Can't complain at another version of Hana Kimi!

Sorry, this was another one of those posts that you couldn't give a crap about.

Troublemaker

For some reason, my iPhone likes to mix and match my album artwork.

At first, I thought after Laptop's virus, things had just gotten mixed up, but no, I checked on itunes and all artwork matched the correct albums.

I checked my iPod ... Fine.

I turned my iPhone on and off again ... Still the same.

For some reason, Big Bang is now the Twilight soundtrack, SHINee's 2009 album is Chameleon Circuit, LEDapple is 100 Monkeys, and IU is The Mitch Hansen Band. Most of those aren't bad, but most fittingly, SHINee's Romeo album now has the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack artwork.

Memories

I can't quite believe that one of my best friends is a married woman now. It's so grown up! The whole being engaged thing always seemed really mature to me, but actually being married is just something else! God knows what'll happen when babies start appearing in my friendship circle ... I'll probably start planning my funeral.

It was a lovely day though. It went by really quickly, but I'm so glad I was there for all of the Bride's journey. Apparently we were 10 minutes late, but the Bride is supposed to be late, and I blame the photographer anyway. I understand why he kept setting up his photographs for the best possible picture and all that, but it kept holding things up and yet we were the ones who kept getting the blame for it!! Although I got him back by rather publicly pointing out his fly was undone.

Everyone looked beautiful though, as was the ceremony and reception, but most especially the Bride. It's the start of a wedding filled couple of years, I think.

The photo is of us, the Zante Six, which now consists of one married woman, two engaged girls, and three eternal singletons. So much for bridesmaids getting action and romance sparking at weddings.

I have no idea where it'll show up in this post as I'm using the Blogger app for the first time, as Laptop has huffed off again. Joy.

Stupid Love

I was trying really hard to finish the bridesmaid dresses today so that I could concentrate on being one over the weekend, but alas, I did not succeed. So close as well, just two armholes, but I decided that half 10 was late enough to work until, especially when it is such close work. Also, my back was killing me, having being hunched over doing hand sewing for almost 11 hours straight.

The first wedding is this weekend, and yet it still doesn't really seem real. This time tomorrow I will be trying to force myself to sleep as I will undoubtedly have an early start to a long day, and I have no idea what I'm really supposed to do. I suspect I will spend much of the day pulling my dress up.

Rigggghhhht sleep now so I can attempt to beautify myself tomorrow.

Checkmate

Sometimes, I look around me and wonder if I am going to wake up bald one of these days.

There seems to be so much hair around that has just fallen out of my head for no reason. Its not like I maltreat it (unless I straighten it, which is rarely these days), and yet there seems to be more hair on my bedroom floor than my head.

I was going to say that SNSD's sub unit had stolen a lot of their song names on the Twinkle album from other singles at the moment, such as OMG (Oh My God) from Girl's Day Oh! My God!, and Goodbye, Hello being similar to MyName's new song Hello, Goodbye, then I realised that Twinkle came before MyName's comeback, and no one cares.

I must not to half sleep text random words to my friends at 3 am.

This blog is a place for me to document what I am thinking at any one time. At the moment, the above is literally all that is going through my head, and seeing as for some reason I am absolutely shattered, it's all you get.
