Now that I think about it, the chances of two people mutually liking each other must be pretty darn rare.
It's like this whole 'the one' thing, where there is only one person meant for another in the whole world. Yeah, bull shit, or else pretty much everyone has settled for numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10983. There are a hell of a lot of people in this world, and I find it highly unlikely that there is just one perfect couple combination possible.
Although, I guess every time someone dies, then that's their 'one's' chance of happiness gone up in flames too. Maybe that's why some people are eternally single, their partner is dead already.
